Can we assume the classic 747s will be gone after this restructuring? Would they want to focus solely on 777 and 744 flying? Obviously too early to know anything or probably even speculate..

You kind of answered your own question. If there are only 777 and -400 on the property they will probably concentrate on them.

Also I think everyone is jumping to conclusions. There is DIP financing in place which is very important to getting further credit. Atlas went through this a few years ago and although painful came out a much stronger entity.

Atlas went thru a "Preplanned" bankruptcy. All the plane lessors were on board before filing. They HAD to get it done in 6 months.

Well, For those interested in an update on SAI:
Southern Air filed Chapter 11 late last month and offered a TA to the pilot group.
The TA offer is a joke, in my opinion.
The Vote ends on Oct. 24th. The Union is encouraging the group to vote YES.
It will be interesting to see the final results.
