Flipping through my jepp binder I found some pretty interesting names of radar fixes..

GPS 16 PSM

ITAWT ITAWA PUDYE TTATT map= IDEED

ILS 18 LEB

HAMMM BURGR FRYYS

I have a VOR in New England named after me that is all I need. There is an intersection called drunk intersection a little later down the airway there is an intersection called sober. Interesting.

I think my favorite is RDNEK on the GA/FL border. Also, Augusta, GA recently got PAANE and STWRT.

Someone told me that TACKE is over a trailer park. Anyone know if that's true?

There is also an approach with CLAMM and SKIRRT........just calling it like a read it.

Another one that I just saw the other day was the ILS 36L at Cincinnatti, OH.

Just a radar fix on the approach but is named "PORKR".
Hmmmm, makes you wonder.

Some good ones in New England:

CELTS, BOSOX, and my favorite: SORRY.

kilomike

More fix names

HUMTY is the name of the OM on the ILS/DME 21 approach to Prescott, Arizona.

I always liked the name of the OM on the ILS 17L approach to PWA: DIRGE.

Another favorite is the OM on the LOC 3 approach to OUN in Norman, Oklahoma, home of the University of Oklahoma: SOONR.

YOCKY

On the Guitar arrival to BNA from the east:
YOCKY intersection stands for You're Over Central KentuckY (and you are)

BEVOE and REVLE are between Austin and Houston. UT and A&M fans will know what I mean.

...

I always liked the VOR in Bangor, Maine. Nothing better than getting a clearance to "Bangor when able."

There is also NAYLD. Haven't found it on a chart yet, but the ANC Canter controller was clearing aircraft to it... He had to spell it each time...

there is a sexxy intersection i believe just west of ORD....just think..."center, this is N12345 sexxy inbound"

more names

MINNY and GOOFY are over Orlando. SURFN and HEATT in Miami.
BARBQ and RIBBS are in Kansas City. LOBSTA, BOSOX, REVER are in Boston.

"SEXXY" is the IAF to the ILS 14R at ORD. It used to be followed by "ROAMY". I heard a story once about a female captain named Roamy who used to get a big kick out of telling tower "We're inside Roamy".

There is also a "BULLZ" fix to the NW on the JVL arrival and a "CUBBZ" fix SE on the Boiler Arrival into ORD.

Going into Louisville (SDF) there is PARCEL and some other UPS type fixes out there

Twotter,

I've never heard of FROZN or the FROZN3 arrival, I don't see anything like that in my jepps, where is it?

Out in the Bristol Bay area there's HERRY, and close by is CRACK.
