Being that the Flight Mangers are JUNIOR to those downgraded Captains who are now FOs. All Flight Managers must be right seat qualified as well. That way when an abused pilot becomes sick, the Flight Manager can fill in in either seat. Hey, if they're company guys why don't they volunteer to do this?

only half of them are junior to the downgraded captains. One, who is pretty senior, is a check airmen/IOE so I believe he would already be RSQ, so could serve in that status if he was needed/wanted to do. The two who are junior would only be affected if they went back to the line full time. My understanding is if they go fly once a month it doesnt affect them since they are already getting captain pay for being flight managers. Does it make it right, not in my book, but thats how its going down.

If the senior guys don't like it, they should have applied for the job. It's my understanding that not alot of people wanted to be flight managers. I sure wouldn't want that job.
