Sometimes when I click on a google video link it takes me to a home search screen with a bunch of videos and not the one intended.
Anyone else have this problem?
DC8Jetdog you may want to post the link again that's at the top of your post.

BTW, Jetdog what year was it when all that went down at Emery. I thought that Emery was not the plane in the video. If so, why did you get out of the last job. Bad pay and old planes with porta-johns on board? Or was that Emery?

All Fixed Thanks For The Heads Up.
Emery ended in 2001. All your answers to the rest.

This video was done for a contest. I had 24 hours to complete a DVD. MY topic was secrets and my location was garage. I got the info at midnight and had to have a completed DVD back by midnight the next day..so this is what it is..just some fun.

Caneman, your stuff is great!! I wish you all the best with your non-aviation career. I am sure you will do well. Keep it up.

I thought the video was hilarious. Youguys should give him a break. Not only is he a pilot, he is a comic too. I have a little creativity part to me as well. Too bad he is out of aviation. I would love to see morecockpit videos like that

One sink rate is perfectly fine on a ride.

Glideslope warnings on a visual or with the back course dialed in are perfectly fine.

A great way to poke fun at all the SJS/UNDers/Riddle goofs out there.

It seems there are two camps here - One group shocked at the "uprofessionalism", the other thinking it was pretty darned funny. Put me in the latter group. Guys with their undies up their cracks over this, I bet are younger and have some weird mental image of what it'll be like when THEY are in command. Crisp, starched shirts, 4 stripes, a gravelly Steve Canyon "Gear Down" drawl... get real. After many, many years and thousands of hours, you do what you gotta do to keep it sane and fresh, and safe, all at the same time.

The goofiness was in cruise, not approach and landing. The GPWS stuff = means little in a visual approach.

Thanks Guys...Hey I got a gig flying for a show, so I'll be gone for a while. I'll check in from the road. This is gonna be fun. And there will be a lot of new flying videos soon. Thank you ALL for your support and comments. Pilots are the best friends I've had in my entire life. Glad to be part of this board.

Sincerely,
Caneman

Enjoyed the video, although now I am tempted to take my DV camcorder up on a flight and make a spoof of you, all in good fun though!

There are some MEAN people on this board... Guess thats why I visit the OTHER board more often...

Aaaaanywaaays.... Caneman - enjoyed the videos! I'm looking forward to more!

To all of you stuck up critics: There needs to be a balance between professionalism (or anal retentiveness), and having a good time enjoying what we do for a living. I'm sick of all the negativity.

Caneman - you rock.
