One sink rate is perfectly fine on a ride.

Glideslope warnings on a visual or with the back course dialed in are perfectly fine.

A great way to poke fun at all the SJS/UNDers/Riddle goofs out there.

It seems there are two camps here - One group shocked at the "uprofessionalism", the other thinking it was pretty darned funny. Put me in the latter group. Guys with their undies up their cracks over this, I bet are younger and have some weird mental image of what it'll be like when THEY are in command. Crisp, starched shirts, 4 stripes, a gravelly Steve Canyon "Gear Down" drawl... get real. After many, many years and thousands of hours, you do what you gotta do to keep it sane and fresh, and safe, all at the same time.

The goofiness was in cruise, not approach and landing. The GPWS stuff = means little in a visual approach.

Thanks Guys...Hey I got a gig flying for a show, so I'll be gone for a while. I'll check in from the road. This is gonna be fun. And there will be a lot of new flying videos soon. Thank you ALL for your support and comments. Pilots are the best friends I've had in my entire life. Glad to be part of this board.

Sincerely,
Caneman

Enjoyed the video, although now I am tempted to take my DV camcorder up on a flight and make a spoof of you, all in good fun though!

There are some MEAN people on this board... Guess thats why I visit the OTHER board more often...

Aaaaanywaaays.... Caneman - enjoyed the videos! I'm looking forward to more!

To all of you stuck up critics: There needs to be a balance between professionalism (or anal retentiveness), and having a good time enjoying what we do for a living. I'm sick of all the negativity.

Caneman - you rock.

Looked SOP to me.

Be In Caneman's New Video Show

Hello. This is Caneman. Be a part of my new show called, “Caneman’s Pilot Lounge.”
For those of you that do not know me look at my site at www.caneman.tv . Watch my pilot videos and do a search for me on theses pilot boards. On google search for Caneman Videos, or Caneman Comedy.

For those of you that do know me,thank you for your support.

My new project is STARING YOU….what I need are videos of you pilots, either flying in the cockpit, pre-flighting aircraft, flight planning, or just BS’ing about aviation. Small Aircraft to Big Jets. Private Pilots to Airline ATP’s, CFII, Any Aircraft. All videos will be accepted. And be sure to EMULATE ME, Caneman in your videos. Just do your best.

Please keep it clean and loose and the objective is to motivate others, young and old, to bring aviation into everyone’s hearts.

Please send me the raw tape unedited, and I will then edit the videos and host them into a new show. So send me your tapes on mini DV or DVD files that I can copy. Also please send a release that states your name, address, phone number, and that you give me “caneman” permission to use your videos and your likeness in my show.

This is just an Idea, I do not have a lot of money to make this, so for now it would just be for the exposure and glory. For all of us.

Please send your tapes to me at

Caneman’s Pilot Lounge
8306 Wilshire Blvd. #47
Beverly Hills, CA. 90211.

Please email me and let me know that you’re sending a tape.
[email protected]

Sincerely,
Caneman
