Yeah, its a collegiate flying meet. Check out www.nifa.ws Thats the organization who tries to be in charge. I hear some things have been kind of a Charlie Foxtrot in comparison to past years competitions.

Only because Purdue didn't make it to Nationals

I'm actually in MQY now, and it is a cluster, but the Middle Tennessee people are working hard and doing the best job I think they can. I heard Monday they had inbounds holding all over the place and had more operations than Memphis.

UND had very nice facilities for Nationals last year. Its kind of a shame Grand Forks sucks so bad; its more boring than West Lafayette and I didnt think that was possible.

Purdue is a good school. Its not that boring with a case of beer and some serority girls. I think we all agree about UND. They are known for aviation and have tons of funding, its the smaller programs like U of I and Purdue that don't have all the funding that I respect and fly with.

I'm just curious why some of you were ripping on UND. It sounds like a good public school and I think they have won more safecons than any other school. I also believe it costs the same as other state schools and is much less expensive than private schools (ERAU).

They have won quite a few SAFECON's, of couse that and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee. As for being cheaper than ERAU, I believe some parts might me fairly reasonable, but they, like every other one of those b.s. schools has like a 100K airline pilot program. Honestly, my only contact with UND folk is the xjt intern, and he's a douche.

Anyone else member when UND's crashing...I mean flying team showed just how strong piper products are back in 2001 when they beutifully demonstrated a power off stall at 150'. Good thing it was a SAFEcon competition.
