Wow I'm so glad they didn't pop the "emergency slides," huh??? I guess Mesa has those on their CRJ's!

"Upon arrival, passengers were able to exit the plane via the stairs as usual, and Lawson said that rescue slides were not used."

The level of professional jealousy is amazing on this board. You guys can’t even accept and appreciate that the pilots made an excellent decision and landed the plane safely.

And it doesn’t matter if they are Mesa or any other airline. They did a fantastic job in circumstances where they didn’t know what was the cause of ‘haze’ [precursor to smoke], and acted in professional and safe manner to ensure safety of everyone.

All you guys can do is to use sarcasm that allows you to feel that you’re better than Mesa pilots.

Show some professional courtesy!

Good Job Mesa pilots!

Agreed...wed be giving them complimentary BJ's if this were an eagle or skywest crew...nice job mesa guys...

Maybe YOU would be giving complementary BJ's... Speak for yourself!

"Nice Job" really ought to cover it.

So, diverting and stranding a flight attendant crew memeber and busing 41 pax to LAS is justifiable when a cabin light burns out? It took until the next morning to get a ferry permit? And none of this sounds fishy to any of you so-called pilots on this board?
