How can they award the coex flying in a month or two when we still own those planes until the end of the year. Not trying to flame I just don't see how that could be. The word around here is those planes may be going to europe to fly for some XJT europe startup. If they do go there won't be any 69 planes to fly!

rjcap said:If he wants to give the 70's to somebody else so be it. Why do we need them if they don't pay any better then the 50. I call bullsht on his whole road show. He's just there to undermine our union reps at the negotiation table.

You have to get a job in acting, it's just a waste of talent to have you in a cockpit.
I thought you guys would have stood firm for the SECOND concession at the 10% line like I was told about three months ago. Guess ya'll didnt get it right the first time huh? Was the second pay cut firm at 10% like the scope? Guess we'll see now that you lost prudy and her somewhat beneficial attitude. Good Luck hope the new one is atleast fair.General Lee said:That makes NO sense at all. He may be confident, but it all comes down to OUR VOTES. Sorry, speculation can be costly. Even our MEC can give a TA to us, and then it is UP TO US. YOU NEED TO LEARN THIS CFIT, expecially since your own "union" (are those guys appointed by management?) leaders are floppy wangs. (is that acceptable language on this board?) Maybe JA is buying GOLD with all of the money he is saving by not giving you your 1.2% pay raise........
Sure, there may be some 90 seat HULLS being delivered, but they may NOT hold that many seats when it is over with, and unfortunately for you---they will still pay 50 seat wages. Good job.
Bye Bye--General Lee

And yeah 900's for 50 seat pay or ASA 70seat pay minus 8% is crazy
Funny, That 10% is eactly the line I was told by several of your line pilots. No kidding. Are you sure there isn't a divide of oppinion among AC types? None of the folks were 76 folks. But the exact quote I remember is "most the people aren't going past 10%." Everyone was peeved that grinstein was coming back with a cut AGAIN and 1113C and there wasn't much your union could do about it. And we saw that was the case. 14% (for the second pay cut) was then released shortly after all the ruckus. I was in the not so beautiful hole they call atlanta when that came out.( I really hate that town) Lot of frowny faces.....General Lee said:I have never heard of the 10% line in the sand? No one ever gave me an amount before the last concession give away. And, that was a TEMPORARY agreement, and we are actually asking for some of that back immediately---I believe 6% (down to 9% total cut), then down to 5% a year later, and then zero. (we will still have the original 33% pay cut from 2004)
Bye Bye--General Lee

Just telling you what I was told A$$L!k
Comin-In-Hot said:All you guys aren't going to like this, but sounds like our parent company giving us a contract without the 8% concession on 70 pay will not happen. JA said about 5 times that ASA cannot and will not get any addtional 70 flying until the costs come down. He gave some legitimate breakdowns of operation costs, and said that he wants us near the bottom, but not at the bottom. He touted the profit sharing plan several times, and some numbers were crunched while we were all there, and a $100k per year Captain stands to get about $1150 per quarter based on a 4.6% company quarterly earnings while meeting 100% of the performance goals (The baggage is not included!!)
SKYW is actively bidding on the COEX flying, and if SKYW gets the award ASA could expect to receive a majority, possibly all of that flying (69 ERJ-145's). That awarded carrier is expected to be announced in about a month or 2.
Hey Not my fault you picked wrong and will face more paycuts or a different line of work. Take your anger out on your dog stay outta here dweeb. Go back to YOUR ROOM ya troller, It's labeled MAJORS.FDJ2 said:Go back to your room junior.
