attrition at SkyWest seems to be 8-12 a month. I moved up 29 numbers in two months recently due only to attrition, but how much longer that will last-who knows?

Deerkiller said:Just depends on where the person leaving falls on the seniority list. I've moved up 79 numbers since newhire class(about a year). Just to compare, I have a friend was senior by 100 numbers or so when I got hired, but who is less than 90 senior now. So we've had people between us leave.

If you are at about #200 seniority, you maybe only moved up 20 numbers on the list in the last three years.
If you are junior and a lot of junior folks (who happen to be somewhat senior to you) leave, you move up more.
Just because someone moves up 29 numbers in two months, doesn't necessarily mean that these twenty-nine come off the top of the list!
I've moved up about 15 numbers in six months at my new company, while those who have been here for 4.5 years maybe moved up one or two numbers.
Cheers!
