Why transfer 2 planes when you can transfer 4?
Ship 702 is on the flow boards for Friday. Along with a N700TA ?? Anybody actually seen these planes?

Nope, but we are getting Luscombe 8F's secondhand from an operator in Russia! Awesome! Those must be the ATR replacements! Expect an order of 250 of them soon. What are the pay rates?? It'll be easy for the gate agents with a max of 1/1 all the time.

Why would ASA recieve 900's, presumably for ATL based flying, when Skywest already has a 900 base here. It woulnd't make sense for Skywest to operate a base as small as it is, and then send some over to ASA. Would this signify moving the Skywest ones back to SLC and future deliveries to the ASA side for Atlanta?
Negative. 12 Hard lines and 4 reserve for April.Skywaste is pretty much done with ATL. There are only a few reserve crews remaining.
SkyW and Pink are only keeping the ATL 900 routes warm for ASA until ASA can get into the delivery schedule for new 900's. Now that ASA has a new contract with all its groups, theres no sense in having SkyW and ASA in the same base with the same A/C and Pink won't be on the DL connection label for long.There are 7 900's flying the ATL system. I think there were only 4 last month. Oct-Dec it was about 8 airplanes. The ATL base has shrunk, but is now understaffed, which is why they're TDYing people to ATL to sit reserve

There is NO current transfer of any SKYW aircraft going anywhere. The only aircraft SKYW is letting go are 15 EBM-120s this year. SKYW is also slowly transferring old CRJ2s from the Delta to the Midwest side. Also, as old Comair aircraft flows through PSP, MX is equipping all of them with ACARS. They hope to have all the aircraft ACARS equipped by the end of the year.
