I just heard that the next class is scheduled for the first Thursday in January. In addition possible 50 more airplanes. Just what I heard from training department.

Just got back from Sim, and other than scaring the hell out of myself doing the ASE approach (Major props to the AWAC dudes that go there every day!!), there was absolutely no talk of new classes. In fact the instructors were stoked to finally have some time to go skiing.

Do you have a name, or even a position for your mythical training department source?

Don't know why we were doing the ASE approach, that would have probably been a good question. Maybe just for fun to see if the 700 could get in and out.

For even more fun I recommend the single engine departure out of RNO.
Yeah! That's on my list of top 5 things never to do! I was happy when it was an RJ route, but now SFO-RNO-SFO is a common flight for us westcoast EMB guys. Glad there's a red light on top that hill!
