Sure it is. Skywest is taking advantage of the current glut of wannabes. It's not to the level of requiring you to write them a check to work there but it's heading that direction. PFT. That is really what it is if you factor-in the lack of pay and expenses being paid by the Conpany. Pretty lame.
How soon you two guys forget that during the '90s, ASA hired only through the FlightSafety New Hire program. Now THAT was PFT....yep, you gotta love ALPA!ASA treats you with respect and pays you during training. Gotta love ALPA.
