Any coincidence that the SAPA forums crashed while the SkyWest pilots are more pissed off than they have ever been? Is this SGU's way of sending us to our rooms to have quiet time?

I think that the forums have started to become an ALPA informational tool and that may be an issue for SGU. It's also interesting that supposedly all information may me lost when/if they bring it back online.

What's the big deal? The 50-99 seat payscale was only temporary and Skywest would never screw the pilots over. We have too good of a relationship with our management...

The server is a private server out of the grasp of the company. The server from what I know had a problem resulting in a crash.

It is our intent to show how management can, and will, change any policy at their discretion. We consider this policy change, which we label as a Pen Stroke Policy Change, in clear violation of SP303 located in your Crew Policy Manual. SAPA was neither consulted in this policy change nor did SAPA agree to it prior to implementation, as SP303 (C) stipulates.

The purpose of this memo is to emphasize SkyWest’s expectations for professional behavior while representing SkyWest Airlines among co-workers and while on company business, including airport premises, RON hotels, and restaurants.

By way of reminder, please carefully review the following policies which outline SkyWest’s expectations of employee conduct in the workplace:

• SP 306, Personnel Files, Rules of Conduct, and Crewmember Reliability. As of _04/06/2006, SP306.6 has been revised to reflect a requirement of no alcohol twelve (12) hours prior to assigned duty, rather than the former eight (8) hours.
• SP 56, Productive Work Environment. This policy promotes a productive work environment and establishes guidelines for ensuring such. This policy also prohibits conduct by any employee that disrupts or interferes with another’s work performance or that creates an intimidating, offensive or hostile environment.

Those found in violation of these policies are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination and in some instances, civil action and/or imprisonment.

Safety is our priority and our company has zero tolerance to all actions that compromise the safety of our company, our passengers and one another. By closely adhering to these policies, we will ensure that we remain the employer of choice as well as the airline of choice.

Thank you for the professionalism you display each day in conducting your duties with trust and confidence. Your valuable efforts in serving the flying public with pride and responsibility are appreciated.
