The skywest open interviews are scheduled from 9am-2pm. Can you show up anytime in this time, or do you need to be there when it begins?

I don't want a moustache ride, but i do also want to know the answer to your question.

be there at the beginning. they'll collect resumes at the start. during the presentation, the interviewers will go through the resumes and decide who they want to talk to right away, usually those with 121 experience. I'm guessing they'd still talk to you if you got there later, but the early bird..........

I'm sure they'll admire your enthusiasm when you stroll in at 1:45

I walked in about 1:57 and they hired me on the spot. They thought, who is this gangsta with balls of steel.

Nice - me too. Well, they said, "I love this country boy and his sh*t-kickers...who cares if he's 5 hours late - lets give him a job!"

PS - get there 30 minutes early because I am completey full of it

I always wanted to go to a job fair / group interview wearing a ridiculous bright oragne tux with ruffles. When everyone else wears the typicial dark blue suit, one thing's for sure is that you'll stand out from the crowd and they'll remember you.

It works... So long as it is not a gimmick. Gimmicks get you killed. you can't just try to be different. You've got to find what makes you different and then accentuate it. I could never pull of a gold suit because it's not me. The guy who did was clearly a gold suit wearer. That is, however a perfect example of standing out. Just make sure you stand out as you.

That was deep.

Wear your ALPA lanyard with the "My MEC speaks for me" button hanging from it. that should get you hired.

But seriously, you should show up BY 9am. its more of a presentaion than just a meet and greet.

good luck
