And after a few thousand hours in each, give me the RJ anyday...
...and some Jameson. Oh, sorry Russ, I mean Black Bush.

There's only 3 kinds of tea: Hot tea, Iced tea and un-sweetened tea.

No one believes me when I recount the following conversation from growing up near Hotlanta:

waitress: What do you want to drink?
me: coke.
waitress: what kind?
me: coke.
waitress: ok.

And yes, grits are a food group.

Sorry for the thread-jack. Back to the original post:

c182, congrats on the class date. You'll have a blast.

And cougarblue, good luck.

Just got a call from Cassidy today for a Brasilia class on the 13th. I was wondering what base a new hire is most likely to get and how long it would take to get Denver.

Ok, so I looked right now the list of transfers as FO on the BRO to Denver where I am based now. There is only 11 people on that list. We have 20 FOs total in Denver with 14 of us holding a line. Sometimes we have had 22 Fos.

Right now with the class of Rj transition and upgrades in April, there are like 6 guys leaving. As long as they run another class in May, getting Denver should not take too long at all.

Actually, they had a hard time arranging classes with Denver in it, cause according to them, too many FO E120 DEN were going away to the Jet or Upgrade. So if you want Denver, go for it... If you bid it, the more chances we who are here will get to move out. It is the lack of interest in Denver by some who believe it to be too senior that has some of us waiting to move out.

Hope this helps,

Take care. And congrats.

What do you think about Salt Lake. It would sure be nice to not have to move, or commute. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

ya got me

Blucher,

Yea you nailed me on that one, i forgot sprite doesnt have any caffiene. Not a big sprite fan anyway, unless you dump a little gin in it i suppose.

There are as of now like 19 FO's looking to transfer into Salt Lake. Offcourse some of these guys also have transfer bids into the CRJ which will probably come before their transfer bid because of the new classes coming up. It is like always impossible to know for sure. One thing is certain, as we grow and more UAL guys get recalled, COA is hiring some, as also SWA, as long as the trend continues, it becomes more posible to get what you want in a shorter time span.

For example, in the last month I have moved about 18 numbers up in total seniority, and a total of almost 105 numbers since last year.

It is all about seniority when it comes to holding your base, so do not pass up classes if you can avoid it.

Take care.

... Coke should have booze in it...

While some booze will improve the taste of coke, GOOD booze doesn't need anything, just a glass. It doesn't even need a reason.

Just a glass....maybe some club soda ... for the bubbles of course.....I like something tickling my nose when I drink my whiskey

I suppose

Joe,

I agree with you there, but I work at a regional, and therefore can't afford good booze. Plus, when I mix my cheap booze with Coke I cover the fact that it's crap, plus I get the bonus of the caffeine in the Coke and don't have to suffer the embarrassment of "falling asleep" on the bar.;)

PS-For all the Yankees out there: Pepsi is an insult to all things cola. One of things the Rebels got right is Coke!
