the website is stupid, or does being suspect of ALPA automatically make you stupid?

Last year its pilots agreed to operate 70- and 90-seat aircraft at the same rates as 50-seaters. The agreement expires this year, but company officials are hopeful a similar arrangement can be negotiated.
Really?Really are you kidding? Every job should be unionized. Who do you guys think you are? The great lie is that the working man should be a part of the Republican party.Unless you are a GOD fearing, anti abortionist, there is no rational reason why you should support the Republican party. They, meaning Republicans, do not support Conservative views on economics. So why should a Conservative support a Republican? Our President is a moron, and the Congress, both houses Republican, is useless. Every pilot should be a part of a union, the problems with ALPA need to be corrected but they are a lot better than being management flunkies.
Really?
Why don't you do me a favor and list ....oh, let's start small here....five nationwide examples of things that Democrats have done to help organized labor -and airline industry employees in particular- over the last ten years.
I'll tell you what...I'll even let you extend it out to fifteen years just to help you out a bit.
I love these witty banters from flightinfo. Quick question... Do most carriers that operate both 757 and 767 airframes pay the same for both?

I'm kinda confused about this ALPA drive...can anyone tell me what ALPA national has done to help their company.
ASA, Pinnacle, Mesaba, Trans States, Mesa...can any of you guys tell me how ALPA has helped you. I know how much ALPA helped those TSA guys out by allowing management to create an alter-ego...gee where was almighty ALPA on that one.
The days of a powerful union are long gone.
No, not at all. All I'm wondering is what ALPA has done for the regionals lately that makes them so wonderful.
Because I don't feel they have done anything for anyone besides collect dues and say it's out of our hands.

#16! you're slippin'! My money was on you,, outtahere, FlyinPiker or www. to come in first with your 'SkyWest pilots are the root of all our problems, they have no say even though they make more than us and JUST WAIT Jerry will come after you next' speech.
disappointing, my friend.
Watch Mesaba, if the pilots strike NWA will have to go to Skywest for the flying. You may be given the choice of alpa or the scab list.
You're answering a question with a question. What do you mean what has SkyWest done for the other regionals...what are they supposed to do.
I would like to know where you get your information from as well. We do not do work for considerably less than others. We have a competitive pay rate and I would have to say that our quality of life here is far better than at the majority of the other regionals I have seen lately...ALPA regionals included.
I am not in any way bashing ALPA. All I want someone to do is explain to me as a whole the good ALPA has done for the regionals. If they have done the regionals good...please tell me how, I'm curious. But if you're firing back at me with no answers...that should probably tell you something.
I used to work for a regional carrier represented by ALPA...my QOL, pay, benefits, and relationship with the company is far better here than it was there.
On the political side. Lets not forget Carter (Dem. GA) who deregulated airline, and also killed the farming industry in the USA. If you want higher taxes, interest rates, a smaller military and more terrorism Vote Democrat.
