You're answering a question with a question. What do you mean what has SkyWest done for the other regionals...what are they supposed to do.

I would like to know where you get your information from as well. We do not do work for considerably less than others. We have a competitive pay rate and I would have to say that our quality of life here is far better than at the majority of the other regionals I have seen lately...ALPA regionals included.

I work for a Regional which is in a sham of a bankruptcy and was told to take a pay cut or some of our planes our gone.

Our second year 70 seat rate for an FO $41 an hour and our 50 fo rate is $37 an hour. SkyWests is 34. There is your information.

The company wants one rate for all FO's and originally wanted one rate for all CA's. Gee wonder where they got that idea from!!!!

It is not Alpa's fault, the fault lies that other people are willing to do it for less.

No!!! The pilots are qualified to fly them both but the pay is different, I know for a fact at CAL and AA the 76 pays more then the 75, even at CAL the 737-800,900 pay more then the 300's and 500's. That is the same at DAL also.
I was at SkyWest when this was voted on and voted no, this was probably the worst thing we could of done, and will continue as you guys fly the bigger CL65's for the same pay. I enjoyed my time at SkyWest, I enjoyed my quick upgrade but I still thought the 50-99 seat was a very bad idea.

Thanks. I was curious, I wasn't sure how the pay went up there for the "real" pilots :). I thought I had a United guy in my jumpseat and he said that they got paid the same for both. I appreciate your response to my question, without some sort of agenda behind your answer.

Tomcat's posts seem to be a waste of time. No real help from him... must be a Dem thing.
