I would rather have been furloughed to be honest with ya - I could have collected unemployment at least?... Oh well - It's just going to be fun making ends meet until skywest calls sometime between tomorrow and 5+ years from now? Haha.

Hopefully they don't hire ual guys prior to guy that were already given dates - that'd be kinda messed up since there's not a flow through agreement.

Sorry bout your situation. But you just never know in this industry. Could be a few months before they call, weeks, years.....who knows. At least you are in the pool and know that when they call you are still going if you want to.It is frustrating waiting however.

I'm pretty sure they did bypass the poolies to bring in the UAL guys last time. But UALPA may not have the resourses to bring their pilots to second year pay this time around, which could change everything.

I floated for 9 months in 2001..... and then they called on thurday to see if I could be in class on monday.
