To clarify... 1: The company can if they want to bypass a current pilot and put a new hire in a CRJ. IF that happens if the current pilot pay protected?

I told you how it works and you still do not like my answer. I cannot argue with "IFs". I guess "IF" monkies fly out of my butt, then my a$$ will hurt.

When the company fills a new class for the RJ, they first look at the Bro FO's that are coming off of their seat lock. They move those people into the class and fill the remainder of the spots with new hires.

As was stated earlier, if the Brasilia FO wants a senior RJ base for his/her transition, he/she may not get the award. He/she is not pay protected if they then hire a new hire into the RJ class, but he/she does move to 2nd year FO pay which pays higher than the new hire FO in the jet.

All you skywest pu$$ies might as well weep in your metrosexual coffee because not one of those jets will be going to Skywest Airlines. Remember you sally's voted down ALPA Jerry knows he has you by the shorthairs.

Let's say, for the sake of the discussion, that you are right. There is really very little ALPA could have done anyway.

And I don't drink coffee. It's too bitter.

You all are so naive. Jerry is dangling a carrot. You COULD get the planes beginning in 2/08. But alas, they will "propose" a pay cut to SAPA in January, which will be refused, then the airplanes will come to ASA. Then you'll get a "second chance" in late '08, and a few of the remaining ones will come your way.

You are all new to this game. We've seen it before.

True. All of us are "new" to this game. Including huge numbers of Ex-YV pilots who have absolutely no experience from working with a certain CEO and a start-up ironically called "Freedom."

Or the many, many pilots who have come from TSA who have absolutely no experience from a certain episode with some alter-ego(jet) airline.

Or the many Ex-MQers...they know that AMR management was totally on top of their game.

Yeah, we're totally naive

So then I guess the question is.....why make a LATERAL MOVE? I mean with all of your experience....
