this was a rumor at skyw a while back but it pretty much died out. higher ups say no way to put a price on ASA with Delta in the shape they are in.

kinda late on this one but it came across on the wire on wed. that america west was in talks to take ata.

Why not just buy Eagle! Im sure they would do anything to trash there 16 year alpa contract.

My take on this is that SKW is only interested in some 700's. They already operate some for UA, and would like to do the same for DL. Some interesting questions: Would the crews go with the airplanes, or just an airplane deal? Would some of the ASA pilots be willing to go over to SKW, or move back to ATL?

If true, this could be interesting.

Has anyone heard the latest rumor about Skywest using all the money they have
in buying ASA. Thats the latest I heard...
Yeah, and the new name is going to be SkyA$$.

In order for SKywest to buy ASA, we would have to be for sale. Everyone up to and including Jerry Grinstien have said that ASA and Comair are not for sale. Sorry "#1 Flamed out".

While we're on the topic, "#1 flamed out", I don't appreciate your comment "that's why you're still a regional pilot". You are one negative post from being banned.

This thread is closed due to it being flamebait and filled with personal atacks.
