Anyone have a rough guess as to how long before they are all gone? 4-5 years?
Thanks,
I heard from a good source that SAPA has been negotiating the possibility of bringing an airbus online so long as we temporarily keep our 50 rates for it!

THIS ROCKS!!
Hopefully Friday will bring good news....Even if this is a joke, the mere mention of it scares me..........
Airplane progression is not career progression.

sure hope that's a joke-if so I find it humorous
Nope. Keep them at mainline so we might have REAL jobs someday...
Screw mainline and screw asa. We need more big airplanes!
muuuuuuch higher yield markets.
I am all for bigger airframes at skywest. Career progression without the hassle of interviewing somewhere else.
Aircraft has to be attended with APU running. APU is 400A. FO's don't do everything, just the dirty or uncomfortable tasks.Squawk 7500, thread hijack in progress:
I was told that you guys have exclusively the -150A APU, and as it doesn't have some of the auto shutdown features you can only run the APU when the aircraft is attended. Is that really the case?
Further, do y'all make the FO's do everything? Start engines, etc?
