announced today, effective March 1st.

i heard skywest wants a mco base

MCO base to be announced by March.

And before anyone gets too excited about the ATL base closing and thinks Skywest will have zero presence there, Skywest is still going to flow flights in and out of ATL as usual.

Congratulations!

Ya know they have been saying they were going to close that base for three plus years.

I have heard the errant rumor of DCI in MCO as well as some 320's.

ATL announcement is now on SWOL. Effective March 1. MCO base rumor is pretty solid. Announcement this spring. It would be more SkyWest branded flying code shared with AirTran like MKE.

Sorry to hear that for the Skywest folks. I know a few lived in the area and loved it. It never was properly staffed though.
