Skywest Airlines is their baby and they don't give a crap about you guys. Skywest airplanes will be coming to Atlanta.

That was true at one point but don't think that Jerry will not sell you down the river to make a buck. At one time Skywest was the only child in the family. Last fall your daddy adopted a red-headed child. You might not like the thought of it but our daddy now will do whatever it takes to make both Skywest and ASA into money making companies.

ASA is now in the family, you don't have to like it but that is a fact. As soon as this pilot contract at ASA is done you will see growth on the ASA side as well. Skywest can't do it all. (not logistically possible) You might be right in that Skywest airplanes will be in ATL. It wouldn't suprise me, but don't think that ASA is going to leave SLC or the west coast any time soon. It is all about the money.

Bottom line, Jerry likes the stock-holders best and will do whatever he can to make them happy.

Skywest didn’t buy ASA, Skywest Inc. did.

Wow talk about denial, I guess it doesn’t really matter how you word it, ASA was bought by another company. Wake up ASA guys/gals, Mother Delta SOLD you. You guys who want to get technical and say “well Skywest didn’t really purchase us” better get a clue. And for those that dream of a DOH integration, you can have that when hell freezes over. I don’t want to see a staple happen either, but would like to see at least a 3 to 1 with fences for the younger SKYWEST guys. Oh, and the SLC thing, that was ours to begin with so stop bitching. Cheers.

SLC is yours? Really it's whoever's flying you are feeding. SKW doesn't own any flying, just like ASA and every other Feed airline.

Oh, and Jerry is playing both sides. He hosed the SKW pilots to get the rates where he wanted them and now he's trying to do the same to the ASA pilots.
Only we don't have anyone listening to the hype or believing anything that managment says.

Ya might want to check your facts...SkyWest & ASA are already money making companies for Uncle Jerr!

That was my point I guess I didn't say it in that way. Skywest Inc. is Jerry's baby. That is Skywest and ASA. Jerry is going to make sure both of his babies are feed and continue to grow.

You guys with your crappy management just don't get it, you can't relate. Will JA screw the Skywest pilots if he had to? You bet. But if he has a choice between ASA and Skywest, it will be Skywest every time. The company was started by his dad and uncles 34 years ago. That is what the "family" thing is about.

If you don't know these people and their background, you'll never understand. These are not your typical "management for hire" type people.

Its not about Kool-Aid. Its about knowing who you're dealing with.

Good luck

Jerry will do whatever makes him the most money.

Skywest is just another feeder.

Wait till the ASA dildo is over.....he's coming after you next.

HAHAHAHAHA, hows that strike vote coming?

I remember when Delta was telling there pilot in the 80's that they would never furlough a pilot. After all they were a tight family operation. We all have seen what happens to the family thing in the early 90's and after 9/11. Just ask any Delta employee about Ron Allen, 7.5 or Uncle LEO and his clan.

When it comes to a dollar Jerry will pick the company that will make the most for him. Jerry has built Skywest Inc. He stills loves Skywest airlines but he is moving on to bigger things. It is not personal it is business.

There is NO loyalty. It's just money and nothing else.

Jerry is sitting in his 20,000 sq. ft. mansion plotting his next move, and Skywest Airlines is not sacred.

Its coming great you effing tool!! Thanks for the unity, once again the problem in this industry! At least the ASA pilots have a set, and are standing up to management for once. I'm sure you'll thank us later, a$$.

Jerry walked into my recurrent class and told us he was going to take a 20% cut in pay to help save the company. He said was leading the way. Trouble was he never did, take the pay cut that is.

Instead of though an email or conference call he lied to our faces. That is not typical of management.

SkyWest pilots have already been screwed so many times by JA’s management that when it happens they just don’t feel it or it doesn’t seem to hurt as much anymore when he slips it in again and again.

Good day

And if United shut down Jerry would give all of ASA flying to Skywest and move pilots from DEN, ORD to cove the ATL flying where he already has pilots and airplanes. I think you might be right, after all he will always choose Skywets over ASA.

That won't happen. As Ganja said, there is no loyality other than loyalty to make a buck.

So far about 99% about of our pilots have voted YES to the strike. We are used to being screwed by mgmt., therefore are not only more cynical but also a bit more realistic when it comes to looking at the world through "rose tinted glasses".

Speaking of donkies, how about the flight attendents being stapled! That will surely require Homeland Security Level Red over at the Puzzle Palace. Eva would be given the Moussollini treatment. Everyone just stop pissing on the place they are standing on, you guys are just getting your feet wet. Nothing is going to change till we get a fair contract. That is, after we STRIKE!

IN FAVOR!

Wrong!

I think dookie is more appropriate.

No, I think Poopie is really more appropriate.

Major expansion in SLC at the expense of ASA; Skywest awarded 87 RJ Captain slots and 43 F.O.s in SLC effective Aug. 1st. Only 2 Captains and 3 F.O.s are transfering out. SLC already had about 260 crews.

Yes, we know this. Thanks for bringing it up in every post, though.

Geez, with friends like this, who needs enemies?

:rolleyes:Guys don't worry about the likes of "Turdlanger and Dump 9" they are just pissed that the pilots at ASA have a set all the while they continue bending over for JA!! We will see just what happens! These guys almost sound like those that kept walking out to the "Strike Lines" at Eastern telling them how happy they were for Striking. i.e.making "fair money" for a piece of SH@T like Lorenzo!
