SkyWest net income climbs 35%

The St. George, Utah, regional airline said revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose more than 59% to $791.8 million from $497.3 million. SkyWest said its revenue climbed on a 63.3% increase in capacity, or available seat miles, as a result of its acquisition of Atlantic Southeast Airlines in September 2005. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call forecast earnings, on average, of 63 cents a share and four analysts forecast revenue of $806.3 million.
