What's the deal with Skyway Airlines (midwest connect)??? APC says that they are hiring and their website doesn't show them hiring. I know their minimums used to be 750/50, but did they go up because they are losing the b1900s and just keeping the Dornairs? If anyone have any previous experience with them that could give me some info about the company that would be excellent.

i would look elsewhere

As stated above "go elsewhere" I was hired back into a pool in Feb and havent got a call yet. (8 months ago) They are not interviewing right now and probably never will because the Beech 1900s are going. Ive heard crap about jet classes but it sounds like they are going to take only current FOs. HR told me to expect a class late summer/early fall but im thinking thats not gonna happen. Does anybody else have info on the jet classes coming up?

As far as we know, all new F/Os for the "new" jets will be taken from current 1900 crews.

I've recently flown with guys that have changed regionals, coming from there. If still considering, definitely do your homework on what the future looks like

There's a user on here by the name of Lame Lizard. He is also known as Einstein, chuck yogurt, lawman and texas croch rot....He is a flight attendant for them, you might want to send him a PM, he might be able to help you with your request!

580 is a captain on the 1900 I'm sure he'd know more than anyone else.

I know nothing and im sticking to it!

Thank G_D..a new place besides that friggin 'looking for 50 seat A/C' place

Glad there's a new place where I can keep up with what's not going on over there...I always remember back to my favorite thing that I ever saw in the crew room...."How about a nice hot cup of shut the @#$% up." :D
I wonder which fine aviation establishment will be next to hear the wonder of a Dawg's phone playing the finest selection of Venga Boys......

Since you left JS I retired the tune;-) Hope all is well over there!

Wow, another Skyway thread turns into a ex and current SYX crew chatroom.
