I don't think UAL would be interested in Skyway because they are looking for larger aircraft from their regionals, not smaller.

Just like your flights when you have to hand- fly it Joey;)

Well JR mentioned that if we are going to start up a new jet program, we shouldn't start a 50 seat program with the glut of 50 seaters on the market right now. If we are going to start a new jet program he wants it to be 70-90 seaters. Problem is we could never fly them for YX with the 88 seat configuration they are running in their 17's. So a deal with UAL would be perfect for some EMB-170's outta Aspen. Mmmmmmmm, the plot thickens. oh wait thats something else. never mind.

Hey cheesehead, looking at your aircraft...do you work for FlightSafety? I used to instruct there.
Yea I've been at FSI for about a year now, no complaints except for some of the corporate BS that goes on sometimes. But I guess you get a little of that everywhere.

Don't let Tardi bring you down. I wouldn't wish his job on anyone.

I think we used to talk about the packers. Not too many wisco guys down in Vero Beach.

Tardi is awesome and he had received a promotion to CFI director. Now Truax has his old position and she's actually doing alright at it.

Yea I remember ya, looks like Favre has one more year in him. I guess the whole Skyway deal didn't work for ya. I was kinda hoping to get in there myself.

Dorniers now officically Delta's

FLYi 8K from 3/22/05. Any rumors or speculation on what they might do with them?

FLYi, Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: FLYI) ("FLYi"), parent of low-fare airline Independence Air, announced today that it has completed the assignment of 30 Fairchild-Dornier 328JET regional jet aircraft to Delta Air Lines. These aircraft had formerly been used as part of the Delta Connection program.

As previously disclosed in the Form 8-K filed February 25, 2005, the lenders in the leases for the 30 aircraft have effectively released FLYi and Independence Air from all future obligations for these 30 aircraft. As partial consideration therefor, approximately 1.5 million shares of FLYi's common stock is being issued to these lenders. While the owner participant in the leveraged leases has not committed to a release of FLYi and Independence Air, the lenders, which have an assignment of the owner participant's interest in the leases and have a priority of payment superior to that of the owner participant, have committed that they will not assert any claims against FLYi with respect to events occurring after assumption by Delta. The lenders have also agreed that, if FLYi is required to make any payments under the leases and the lenders receive any portion of such payments, they will return those payments to FLYi. As addressed in the Form 8-K filed by FLYi on February 22, 2005, in February 2005 Independence Air paid the balance of the January lease payment on the 328Jet aircraft. In connection with assignment of the 30 328Jet aircraft, Delta has reimbursed such payment with respect to the assigned aircraft.

Independence Air retains two leased 328JET aircraft and one owned 328JET, which it is actively marketing for sale.

Anyone hear anything about a Salt Lake City or Orlando base for the Delta flying instead of Cinci? JoBear, are you ready for a 5 leg commute?

I have heard a couple of things recently....(and I stress heard),

1) That CMR has been given the option to fly the 328's in FLA to supplement the new MCO base for CMR.

2) That DAL will just sit on the 328's till they file for banlruptcy protection. Then they will get out of the leases and will not have to worry about spare parts and someone to operate them.

3) Let Skyway fly them somewhere other than CVG. I think this is the least likely to happen based on the capacity of the 328.

Any factual info would be appreciated......

It's not 5 legs from LAX to SLC is it?? I don't hear anything I just keep my head down and pray for no downgrades. Is DAL still paying for all this?

If ASA has really been sold off to V. America, I'd say ATL would be in the running as well.

Okay where-ever we are going I just wanna get started. Heck I haven't even unpacked from the furlough in 2001, but it's been said I may have a lazy streak in me...

HAPPY EASTER or will that get me banned?
