- SkyWest has 4 RFP bids out, plus other opportunities they are looking at. They believe turboprops are good airplanes, even if fuel costs are trending lower.
- They say the 900's were allocated to ASA and that the transfer to SkyWest cost additional money.
- Atlanta is challenged with runway construction and other issues, but the performance was in line with expectations and ASA is making good profits despite the failure to meet operational goals. The ATL performance is not being accepted, but it is not out of line with expectations.
- SkyWest is sitting on its cash position on the look out for additional opportunities. Several analysts mentioned a stock buy back - or other hints at returning the cash to share holders - but SkyWest wants to hold the cash.
