SkyWest Conference Call:

http://www.videonewswire.com/event.asp?id=36231

The Q&A was worth listening to.
  1. SkyWest has 4 RFP bids out, plus other opportunities they are looking at. They believe turboprops are good airplanes, even if fuel costs are trending lower.
  2. They say the 900's were allocated to ASA and that the transfer to SkyWest cost additional money.
  3. Atlanta is challenged with runway construction and other issues, but the performance was in line with expectations and ASA is making good profits despite the failure to meet operational goals. The ATL performance is not being accepted, but it is not out of line with expectations.
  4. SkyWest is sitting on its cash position on the look out for additional opportunities. Several analysts mentioned a stock buy back - or other hints at returning the cash to share holders - but SkyWest wants to hold the cash.

"performance was in line with expectations"....Either they have no idea of performance or the expectations are VERY low....

Glad to be gone....good luck guys and gals.

As George and John used to say "We already have their money, they are screwed." By the way, you flight bag still lives on with the bottom duct taped back in. Enjoy Blue - You ever see "Lawrence, don't call me Larry, call me Bubba?" Miss you guys, the folks here are losing their sense of humor.

Glad it's still holdin up for ya!! Yeah, glad I made the move, especially after lurking here and the alpa boards to see the happenings at your house. No, no Bubba here. Several stories around all before I showed up.
Still cruise C and D on the way to JFK sometimes. Ran into a few friends from the Bada-Bing lounge! Always good to see them.
Holler at me sometime!

And you left out BL saying,

We have been short on employees and ramp equipment for the last couple of years but we are correcting that. BL was in charge of the ramp operations since about 1999.
