Isn't step 2 going around to everyone you offended and apologizing?
Let me know how that works out!:D

I wouldnt know because i dont go around flaming anyone on here. I actually try to actually "gasp" debate or discuss issues with this site. That is what a "forum" is supposed to be all about, right? ;)

Exactly. And I have looked at GIA's safety record -- it's not "flawless," and I'm not impressed. While there haven't been any pilot-caused crashes (yet), there have been numerous maintenance incidents that don't exactly give me confidence in the operator. (The two involving elevator trim cables give me particular cause for concern. The nosegear collapse and the engine failure don't help either.)
Yes, because no other airlines have minor mechanical problems. GIA is one of the few airlines in the country with absolutely zero fatalities on record. Your assertion that they're unsafe is ridiculous. If you want to talk about the ethics of PFT, that's one thing, but safety isn't an issue.

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you! It was meant to be directed at pocono dufus!

Im glad Skybus is gone. When they were hiring everyone else was too. I remember talking to the chief pilot at an Air Inc. conference and him encouraging me to apply. Being a 1900 driver I was happy to be happy at the possibility of moving on. When I asked about the pay and he told me I wanted to puke. I refused to apply and I told him that I thought that they pay was too low. He told me about the stock options and how the place was going to run on happiness. I wanted to puke even more. I held out and got to where I wanted. That being said I have no sympathy for any pilot taking that job.

On another side note I think Pocono needs to realize that recently XJT has been talking about bankruptcy. If you got turned down at CAL then its understandable, it happens. If you turn around and bash CAL after you got turned down then thats low. Yes CAL is a better place to work than most but doesnt mean there is no room for improvement :) I still feel sorry for her husband. If I were here husband I tie her up and kill her pets in front of her to see the anguish on her face. Then I would sit down and pop open a Labatt Blue light and slowly consume the dead little critters to make sure they dont get a proper burial.

I know Im sick enough to find this funny. But hey if you cant make yourself laugh then whats the use.....

Dude,

Wow, wow, but I honestly believe poco is a dude at FedEx on the panel, well was on the panel, trying to get a raise out of CAL folks. I do believe he got rejected from CAL though. But holy crap, consume the critters, holy crap! You rock!

Good for you, although the "calling of the police" is a little dramatic. The only time I've known that to happen is if someone is a security threat... or it's done to everyone because they have to be escorted out of the SIDA area once their badge is removed.

You know well what I've done for airTran, you commented on it when it first happened. If you don't remember, do a search. I'm a contract hostage who needed a job... and didn't even bother applying to Skybus.

OK. Keep smoking that crack. I believe you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone here to agree with you, just like they can't agree with you on your idea that any airline acquired or merged with Southwest would have to interview for their jobs or get kicked to the curb, but more on that later.

Yes, I know, and more than one of your coworkers has apologized for you and the weird stuff you've come out with on this board.

And as far as I know, Southwest used to have at least 2 scabs that I know of. Maybe they've retired by now...

The word is "compassion", and I've already remarked repeatedly about feeling sorry for the FAMILIES of those pilots.

But your words ring false, as your repeated statements on anyone merged or acquired by Southwest should have to re-interview for their job or get kicked to the curb. How do you reconcile the fact that you would celebrate someone losing their job because they had to re-interview for it with you not wanting to celebrate the demise of a carrier that had wages less than 1/2 that of the LOWEST paid Airbus operator?

Both pilots would lose jobs, yet you'd welcome one but not the other?

Google search "hypocrite" and get back to me...

First of all the police story is true ask any PDT pilot that was on the property before 1998.
Im glad people have apologized for me, but what you don't know is what the same people say about a merger when the door is closed and we are at 41,000 ft.

Jonny......there is that "R" word again applying to Pocohole

Do you think that along with masquerading as a female on FI he frequents the singles bars as a transvestite?
