Ok OK ...so I get all pumped up, spend a small fortune for new clothes for my new job...and a week later, get told they are cutting back and need a PIC instead of a SIC/ioe..position......but I qualify for the 135 PIC..the SIC they kept does not??? and he already failed his SIC checkride....
so once again I am in a position of needing a job in NorCal...so if you have any leads I'd appreciate them.

That blows....but welcome to aviation. I once had a Lear 35 gig lined up, gave notice, two weeks and two days later (The very day I was supposed to start) get told that they decided to use someone else. Huh? Oh well....it happens.

I think SP Aviation (HWD) is hiring, but they can be interesting to work for.

Mitch..yeah I know heard the stories about aviation....thanks for sp aviation.......whats so wierd about them??lol

SP is SP. I had a job lined up to fly the Lear 35 (different from what I mentioned above). Since it was a few weeks away from my class date, I decided to work behind the desk for a bit so I could get exposure in the 135 on demand world.
Just the few weeks behind the desk, scheduling crews, etc...I can't put my finger on it, but something in the back of my head was telling me I was going to hate life if I worked for this company as a pilot.
It worked out because they had to re-schedule the class date so I used that opportunity to leave on a high note. Looking back, I'm glad I did.

But even looking back, I still can't figure out what was giving me the weird vibes. Maybe it was the fact the pilots had to share hotel rooms so the company could save some money.
