Depending on how you interpret the reg, you might be able to get by it. Technically you are not training for "the issuance of a certificate or rating in a multi-engine airplane".

sky37d, if you and Crizz can't get together on this thing, another option would be to contact your insurance provider. They may have the name of an instructor that is able to provide insurance approved recurrent training.

Jeeez, I don't know. All Skymasters do, but I don't know about 421's or 310's or others.

Crizz is over in MN someplace, and I'm at GRR/AZO. Long way to go for training. Not really, but seems like it.
 
No.... 'My' Skymaster has blue prop controls. Most likely they are after-market replacement controls.

I think they may all be black. I know the 421 I fly has black prop handles.
