Is there a way to check how much sick time we have left and how many occurences we have at ASA without asking a CP or Linda? There is something wrong with my eyes and I can't see myself coming to work!

I keep track of it myself. 2.75 times the number of months you have been here, minus any time you have used. Don't bet that teh company will keep itstraight for you.

I know I should be keeping track but as much as I "abuse" my sick time, and the rolling calender year it's just another thing I don't have time to keep track of. I guess I'll just ask the CP tomorrow and then decide if I'm feeling well or not!

Try looking at the Banks section on CRew trac. It shows what is in your sick bank.

I'm not sure how accurate they are. All I know is that mine is spot on. Like ATR driver I track it myself. Its not that complicated if you keep your paystubs (especially the last one and the year end ones which show the total sick time used to date and for the whole year)

I wouldn't put all my faith in crew trac. My numbers in my sick bank on there are different there than how much I've actually accrued.

What if crewtrac is wrong? What good does it do to keep track of your own sick bank? What would you do? They would not care if your numbers were different than theirs.

I think I've had the same thing. The Doctor said it was "acute rectal glaucoma" (couldn't see my @ss going into work.). Usually happens the first couple days of the month.

Is that number of months on line after IOE or after DOE? My CrewTrac bank says 0 balance of sick days and I've never called in sick.

Where did you get 2.75 from? Is that something in the contract?

Have you ever read the contract? Try looking at 14.A.1.

Is is 2.75 times number of months of active service since date of hire, nothing to do with IOE.

No, I have memorized the contract yet. I guess I was hoping that a new contract would have been negotiated by the time I finished training and I didn't want to learn new rules all over again. Apparently, like the Atlanta ramp operations, everything works slow at ASA.
