I am just curious how your company handles sick days/personal days. Do you have both? If you don't use them what happens at the end of the year?

B6 has Paid Time Off (PTO). Use it as you see fit for vacation, sick time, personal day, whatever. You accumulate X amount of PTO hours per month just like traditional sick/vacation time. The more longevity you have the more you accumulate per month. A first year pilot will total about 110 hours of PTO the first year. You can choose to save your PTO time but you can't have more than what you've earned in two years in your bank. There is a provision where annually you can sell PTO back to the company.

I like it. It gives me more flexibility over my time. There isn't a use it or lose it aspect to the program. If you're never sick and don't take vacations you can always sell it back to the company. It ain't perfect and there are some restrictions on how, what, when and where you can use the time but it's better than I'm use to.
