I'll upgrade at my 135 outfit by the end of the year. Turbine PIC in good equipment. Problem is I hate the company, hate the work conditions, and I'm sick of being a pawn to managment. The schedules are horrible. Managment basically owns us from before sunup to after sundown 7 days a week. (days off are sometimes not known until the night before) Captain pay is not to bad for a 135 operator. I have offers from a few different regionals xjet, skywest, mesa. Please help, my heart wants to go, my brain says stay.

Suck it up and get your 1000 hours of PIC NOW.....then quit. I've been at a regional 6.5 years and NO PIC.

Yeah, I've got a thought: STAY STAY STAY for the love of criminy: STAY! The regionals suck! If you've got a reasonable shot at PIC, get it now. Today's hot regional with quick upgrades could very well be tomorrow's stinkpot of Hell. If your upgrade chances evaporate, then quit if you have to. Hell, unemployment pay's not too different from regional pay, and you're home every night!

They all dont suck. The one with the FO with no PIC time for 6 years, now that sucks! My guess he works at Eagle.

Skywest and Republic Airways Holdings (Chautauqua/Shuttle America/Republic Airways) are the 2 best regionals to work for at this time.

Do your research about the 2 and see which ones you like.....or dont like.....

RAH is one of the best? If it's so darn good why do FO's with any 121 time leave as quickly as possible. RAH has one of the worst management structures I have ever seen, no one is actually responsible for anything it's allways in someone else's department. Try calling HQ and getting a human to answer the call, Joe S? BTW who did or did they finally get a CP for the Shuttle certificate? When I left I had to resign to crew scheduling because no one would take the crappy pay for that much work. The guys that stay long term at RAH are either turds or can't (skeletons). Go fly the souped up brasillia.

Mr JoBear:

coming where I came from. RAH is a huge improvement.

Of course a lot of things can be better at RAH but the good outways the bad at that company (my opinion). Hopefully our elected members can get things changed and our pilots will support that! Hope for the best right?
