SkyWay Enterprises, Kissimmee, FL
The "miami vice looking building" but personally I know of scrap yards that are cleaner than their ramp. I watched them almost run their DC-9 off the end of the runway a few years ago after an engine failed.

Watching a guy float halfway down the runway in a -9 in Kissimmee (when they could have gone to Orlando 3 min away) was enough for me to wonder about them.

Yeah, but can you imagine the extra cost involved with having the A/C at MCO, when the MX base is in Kissimmee? The crew would have surely been fired for that, or at the very least lost a pay check. LOL,,,I have all kinds of crazy SkyWay stories. It was the first operator that I worked for.

Death Star Vote

Exec Star....people confuse their area of the ramp for a salvage yard.

I've heard plenty of horror stories too...been kicked off 2 of the 3 ramps @ my home base.

Where is Exec Star at? What do they fly?

Ex cargo dude.
I have two friends who used to fly for them and I believe that most of their flying is out of FLL but they also fly out of Jax. They fly 207s through King Airs (didn't they do a gear-up in that?) and from what I hear, the owner likes to hire pilots who aren't quite legal so that they won't complain when asked to fly stuff they shouldn't. For example, I've heard that some guys got hired for "VFR" 135 with about 470 TT and once they'd logged a few hours for him at that point, there was no way they could complain to the FAA when he threatened to fire them for not flying when it was 200-1/2. I won't even mention the condition of the airplanes but you can probably imagine.

The above post is right on the money, except it is worse than that, and the owner...well lets just say he not playing with a full deck.

One of the Execstar pilots was checking the weather at the FBO I work at, and from what I understand, was hesitant to go. The crazy owner comes in while its pouring rain in the King Air with this young slutty chick in the right seat. He hops outta the plane before we even have the chocks in and the props are still spinning and runs inside to look at the weather computer. Tells the pilot its ok and to just follow him. Absolutely insane operation.....

Another note, the guy asks for a GPU to start up the King Air- man I love gettin close to those spinning props (not).

Has anyone heard of Keylime Air?

This place has killed many many people and hurt many many people and fired many many people for following rules and regulations.

This place is only for people who are not able to get a job at a normal company due to their background check.

I say Keylime Air is the worst place to work.

If only I didn't have friends at my last employer. I'm doing so much better now... I still keep a post-it note in my logbook for one engine inoperative cruise. It's up there and I've had a lot of MX's beers:)

AT is Air Tahoma. I've read alot of bad things about those guys <<shivvers>>

So guys, who takes the "Voted-Mostly-Likely-to-end-up-in-a-Federal-Prison" award?

Go to Willow Run (KYIP), put on a blindfold and throw a dart. That would be the easiest way, since thinking about it would take too long.

Clyde, you have exposed your ignorance. There is only one post on this entire thread which started in DECEMBER that mentions an operator at YIP. That person did not even bother to offer up an explanation. My guess is he couldnt fly his thumb up his a$$. Clyde, Shouldnt you be at the Golden Nugget?

Greetings Loco Gringo!!

Schedules were a lot more attractive on the MD-11, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and go back to school. Longer trips, but the QOL is a little better.

Fly safe, and good hearing from you,

- Clyde
