from his bio page on his website:

http://daschle.senate.gov/bio.html

Tom Daschle was born on December 9, 1947, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he grew up in a working family as the eldest of four brothers. He became the first person in his family to graduate from college when he earned a political science degree from South Dakota State University in 1969.

After serving three years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command, he spent five years as an aide to South Dakota Senator James Abourezk.
Tom Daschle is married to Linda Hall Daschle and is the father of three children: Kelly, Nathan and Lindsay.

One of the captains I fly with was his flight instructor in Vermillion, SD. Incidentally, his wife was (and may still be) the state FAA administrator for South Dakota.

He's still a liberal turd!
Not to mention a raving jackass!

And he is a complete Jack Hass!

Not to mention he fulfilled his military obligation much more completely than our current commander in ch....
