It is not worth the keystrokes. You obviously will give up anything and others prefer to fight for their QOL and dignity. You are the first person on my ignore list.

ONLY 2 people on my ignore list.

But it's only because I dont want to hear the TRUTH!!

it is amazing how many p*ssies we have in this industry, willing to sell out thier mothers and brothers for a job. One of these days I hope they are going to wake up and realize they have screwed an entire industry by taking it in the a$$ from mngmnt. maybe they like being pushed around, or perhaps fired on a whim for nothing. no union=no protection... the exact reason they started in the first place. mngmnt can not be trusted, look at Enron.

stand up guys and lets get what is rightfully ours. we deserve better pay, sked...etc. do not take this crap about Performance Plus and Stock in lieu of a pay raise... it does not work. it only takes a stroke of a pen to make the P+ not pay and I don't trust them enough to do the right thing by us(which would have been just giving it to us like everyone else).

I voted YES and any crap TA they try to push will get a big fat NO.

If I take the companys proposal its a win win situation for me. 1) I get an increase in pay 2) Some of these old farts leave and I move up on the list 3) we get more airplanes and move up even more and thus I get a better line and more PIC and can leave quicker. Its a win win situation for ME and me alone I don't care what happenes to that lifer who put all his eggs in one basket. In the end I fight my own battles and I look out for number 1.

Either way, you're the minority. Keep fighting those battles.

we'll see. Remember if you guys get less than 80% In favor you've lost the battle and managment will go even lower on their offer.

Huh, what did you say????????? Nobody cares, Chief!

Thanks for that. With everyone's help, D'Angelism is a disease that can be wiped out in our lifetime............

So Kooter, if you think unions are such a bad idea, how is it you think life's going to be so sweet if you actually do get to CAL? Are they only bad at the regionals? If it wasn't for the benefits of a union shop, I bet you wouldn't be wetting you panties at the idea of going to CAL.

this guy is a bag.. totally out for himself and can't think of the industry or his brothers. don't get me wrong but I am for my wallet too but i am sure as
s%^t not going to cross a line or sign a TA that gives any pilot in the company a pay cut.
Get more planes... ok that is what they said to Comair, see what happened. It is one of the oldest tricks inthe book. consessions for growth. I do not buy planes I fly them... for money. It is not up to us to decide whether or not we get planes, it is a load of company crap.
I think yo should leave now and save all of us the pain of having to kick your someday scab a$$ off the jumpseat.
the other thing is that you should fight to leave ALPA and neg. your own contract with mngmnt and see how far that gets you. I haven't heard anyone agree to that yet... that is because they are to scared to try they just bit@h and complain on this board. perhaps you should show your face in the crewroom and then we can get down to it.
I am sick of these punk kids and self centered terds that think they are the only ones that fly planes in the country.

There is no "I" in "team", but there is one in "idiot".

Is this guy management?

I actually would rather be a captain at a large regional on the 70 then an FO at UsAir. Look what those guys make. To each his own, just because you think this doesn't mean it is right for all. Flying a 70 or 50 seat aircraft deserves the same respect as flying a 767. It is the same job.

All ASA pilots want is to be paid a fair wage to be able to support their families. When I talked with a professional in another field the other day he laughed at what Captains at ASA make. We are watching the cost of living run away from our paychecks.

Believe me I am not staying at ASA because I can't stand the way they run an airline or treat their people, but for now ASA pilots need to make it the best they can.

Superpooter hit the nail on the head. "It's all about me. ME ME ME! These are the guys who kill the organized labor movement.

Nevermind. SuperTramp, you're a waste of keystrokes. Keep believing the MEC won't call a strike if management pushes it. I'm sure you'll be the first scab.

Lets show solidarity with our MEC and let them do their jobs!!!

BL can have his stock options and Chuck can have his Delta retirement. Skywest can park every aeroplane out in the desert for all I care.

My knowledge, experience and professionalism costs something, $$$$.

Aviation Career Advice; Never depend on the airline for a living...
Start a side occupation now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just spoke with your MEC they wanted me to tell you its not ok for you to go pee pee until 7pm tonight. Hope you havent drank any water yet. When you let your MEC control your life like that its bound to backfire. they are leading you right to the toilet and are ready to flush you down. The solution to this is simple. Quit letting the MEC run your life and think for yourself. My MEC pees for me is no longer a good thing.

And i just talked to the Ohio/Kentucky idiots society, and they wanted me to tell you it's time to come home.

I've got a little song for ya:

Oh I am a RJ captain, yes I am
I'm maxed out at $75/hr in my tin can
I fly all day(7 legs) and deliver pizzas at night
I think my jobs awesome because I'm not to bright
I'm too good for your airline I'm going to Fedex real soon
One day maybe it'll sink in I'm a total baboon

I'd keep writing, but I have to go deliver pizzas

I guess he would rather have the company(who doesn't care AT ALL) speak for him. Like Trump says "You're Fired"... this is exactly what you are going to hear from any mngmnt team that doesn't respect their employees... which by the way is all of them. Oh yeah and you have no way of fighting it, that makes sense.
I would rather have a group that cares even a little(which i believe is more than that) and cares about our career speak for me. not some group that thinks we are expendible.

make no mistake about it, the members of the airlines MEC, LEC, etc are volunteers trying to make things better. ALPO national is nothing more than a big buisness and don't ever forget it.
