Hello folks.

I resigned from a E145 Captain position a few months ago.

My new job is not working out.

I am wondering if anybody knows about any decent operators that are hiring for Beech 1900 Captain positions or E145 F/O or Captain positions, except the airlines. Sick of the airline lifestyle. Looking for something corporate.

Thanks!

Jobs

northrop is always looking for 1900 drivers it seems. swift aviation flys legacys, so does a frac operator ( options?) avcrew.com or climb to 350.com may help. i know a training company out of dallas was looking for part time instructors on the erj. try raytheon on the beech. good luck

Wow...thanks for that info and the quick reply.

I am already seeking Swift and Raytheon is a tough nut to crack. They want test pilots with all sorts of engineering background and military experience.

Thanks again!

BE1900 Corporate Position

Mate,

Jim Wayne, Chief Pilot at Northrop Gruman Aviation in Hawthorne, CA is who you want to talk to. They operate a corporate BE1900 and are currently advertising for that position.

raytheon

there was a girl in my airtran new hire class that was a lakes 1900 captain then went to twa and got furloughed. she worked for raytheon on the king airs and 1900's and i am sure she isn't a test pilot/engineer.

Hey 145.

What was it, exactly, about the airline lifestyle that you didn't like? I'm just a pup and lookin' for a little advice about the future.

Best of luck with the job search.

Well, I could not handle the commute anymore, and my remaining parent is slowing down and I wanted to spend more time with him. I was sick of being gone for 4 to 5 days at a time, and sick of waking up at 3am west coast time for a long duty day.

Former Xjet. I really miss most aspects of the job, but it became very tedious and I wanted to get back to SoCal where I grew up.

You might wanna check out Menards, Inc. out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They operate a somewhat large fleet of 1900's, Citation V's and a X. They were in the process of upgrading from the 1900's to the E140 or 145's when I left the area. The are also looking at opening a pilot base in the Ohio area beside EAU.

Best of luck!

Good comments, though it seems like a great way to make a living from the outside looking in.

Good luck with your job search.
