I do log the time as SIC, but it falls under Part 135 since it is a charter operation.

But how do you fulfill the requirement as per 61.57(f)(2)? Does the OP-Spec state the requirement for a SIC? Or do you use 135.105? So you don't have fully funtional AutoPilot?

Thanks,

This is another debated area. Some people argue that depending on the operation you could potentially log SIC in any aircraft be that a C152. however when you do something like that I would guess there is a lot of skeptics that would give you the

(2) Holds the appropriate category, class, and instrument rating (if an instrument rating is required for the flight) for the aircraft being flown, and more than one pilot is required under the type certification of the aircraft or the regulations under which the flight is being conducted

The SIC is required under Part 135 (passenger-carrying ops ONLY)because some captains opt not to use their autopilot authorization.
