Has anyone ever seen a sea ray? Is this a home built? I saw one today, pretty fun looking.

I've flown one. Thinking of building one.

It's a versatile aircraft. Can take off and land on water or on grass/dirt/pavement in under 400 feet. It can land in the water then taxi up onto a beach. It has a modest speed (100 mph) and can be built in about 400 hours by a first-timer.

Doesn't look funny to me. I think it's cute.

I saw one for sale 3 weeks ago at an airshow, and it's got 914's on it. My boss is real interested it. The workmanship looked very nice.
