I got my MES at Norcal Aviation at Calaveras County Airport in Northern California. Great place, Great people. The plane is an APACHE on amphibian floats. YES an APACHE. If you are just doing it for the fun of it this is the way to go. I got my single engine sea from Shebles aviation in Laughlin,NV/Bullhead City AZ in a Lake amphibian. Also a lot of fun. Good luck and remember you you don't need to justify a seaplane rating. Just do it.
