A couple of buds went to Alaska for fun, and did their seaplane ratings up there during their visit --- again, just for grins. They loved it. I think it was in Homer. If interested, p.m. me and I'll find out where it was at.

Sheble's is a nice way to enjoy Vegas or Laughlin. As I sit here in Alaska, I hear two guys talking about Lake Havasu in the lobby... the world is getting smaller!

To get serious, go to Kenmore Air in Washington.

I agree, Kenmore is the place to go if you want something more than a conversation piece on your certificate. They know the business and work hard to give all the information available over the course of a week or more, minimum. I can't think of much more flying fun than a summer job tooling around the NW landscape in one of their Otters.

LaPlaca in Arizona used to offer an ATP for ASES. They don't anymore, and I can't find anyone else that does. Anyone know of someplace that will do this, preferably on the West Coast?
