Supposedly, the UAL MEC has asked for the top 400-500 pilots be reserved for UAL pilots only and then all other pilots merged with relative senority.
Asking for a separate pay scale for the 747 pilots, saying this has nothing to do with SLI, but then refusing to agree to a binding agreement to not consider the new pay rate for SLI, essentially is asking for exactly this.
It's a top staple and it will affect the SLI right down through the 50% or 60% percentiles.
