I heard that Scenic is having a class next week.
Does anyone know if they still have pilots
left on furlough? And do they plan on
hiring in the near future?
Also, any hiring info on the other Vegas operators would
be appreciated.

I believe the Scenic class is an upgrade or transition class, not a newhire class. I know for a fact they still have many on furlough.

Vision (DO-228s and PA-31s) started a new-hire class last week. One-year training contract.

King (C207s, C402s) is starting a new-hire class next week.

Air Vegas (BE99s) is hiring on a very limited basis - I believe the minimums for captains are 2000 TT 750 ME. Training contract.

All the tour operators are increasing capacity for the summer. Scenic got rid of too many of their leased airplanes to do so to any great degree.

I know this stuff only because I'm a CFI in Las Vegas and talk to a lot of the tour guys when I bring students to the canyon on cross-country flights. None of this is 100% reliable, but I hope it helps.

I see,

I don't think you were hosed by mgt, I think like many that you were hosed by the flow-thru. An agreement which hurts more than helps. Just my 2 cents. BTW, have you been contacted by any P2P people regarding recalls. If not, send me a PM and I'll tell you what I know. See yah.
