The good guys lost one this morning. Mr. Rogers put his tennis shoes and sweater on for the last time.

PITTSBURGH — Fred Rogers, who gently invited millions of children to be his neighbor as host of the public television show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood for more than 30 years, died of cancer early Thursday. He was 74.

It's taken me years to realize this: Mister Rogers was the first person--outside my family, of course--who taught me that you should always be kind to those around you not just because the Bible says to...but because it's the right thing to do.

Thank you Mister Rogers. The world won't quite be the same without you.

God I still remember his show, many years later, he did a real service to the youth of america, it's sad to see him go.

Who'll take over for Mr. Rogers?

He was definitely a glass half-full type of guy. Hope somebody with a good heart takes his place.

Adios Senor Rogers,

SR

What do you think was said to him at the pearly gates????

They should make him a saint..............

Sorry to see such a nice guy go. Also, it's taking every ounce of restraint I have not to make a Mister McPheely joke.
