Regarding D-0, it is not one of our performance parameters that are measured. The reason ASA strives for a D-0, is that is pretty much guarantees an on-time arrival (A-14) which is one of the performance numbers that count.

Open the door, spend the 60 seconds it takes to inspect all the probes on the nose if you are concerned, and fly a little faster if you are concerned about A-14.

I agree with Medeco, don't get caught up in the A-14 stuff if it starts to compromise safety.
 
No I am not saying that. I am saying they had a reason to go out and take a look as to why they had a stall fail message at the gate while the guy was cleaning the windshield, if this is in fact true.

I am also saying that too much emphasis is being put on OT departures without regard to safety, and this will always fall on the PIC to stand up and say stop/slowdown.
