Fed's shut down Grand Scare in April of 2003 when they lost two DA-20's in 3.5 hours, one in the woods at TOL with 3 KIA and one into the river at STL when it ran out of gas. They had destroyed 3 DA-20's in the 5 previous years without killing anyone.

I remember this, I had previously interviewed to fly one of their Hansa jets and was waiting to start indoc when they were shutdown. My class was postponed and I found another gig. Crazy how timing works.

When we lost our A-310 at BHM this past year, we didn't shutdown UPS, I continued to fly our schedule that night.
