I took my oral today and the examiner told me I need to do some refreshing up and to come back in a couple days. I feel pretty bad about not doing good the first time, but I was an hour and a half late because of traffic and i wasnt in it when I got there. Is it a bad thing to have to take the oral all over again?

I don't think it's a big deal at all....the airlines only care that you have your certificate, i doubt they check to see if you passed your oral on your first try......no worries, keep your chin up!!!!

Don't worry about it man. Bad days happen to the best of us. Just go back and show the DE that you are twice as ready now. You have no reason to be upset. It happens more often than you think. Like Rod said, when applying for a DX job, it shouldn't matter how many times you sat with a DE, but as long as you have your ticket. You'll look back and laugh, trust me. Good luck, and be persistent. jake
