Yep, and it all started at the BOD meeting 1998.

ASA and Comair had been bought 100% by DAL, and the connection carriers petitioned the board to declare it a "merger," thus enacting merger procedures.

It was voted down 11 to 2. The result has been a textbook example of whipsawing. Would make an excellent book - "Flying the Two Lines," maybe?
