Is reserve longer on the Bus or E190 ? Also, how do I find out what the overnights are for the bus or 190 from JFK? Trying to decide what plane is best before I go to class on the 29th of this month.
Thanks.

Cant speak for the 190, but for the bus, reserve was about 2 months in JFK for me. I bid out of there and sit reserve at home now.

I spent 7 months on reserve on the A320, but that was a while ago (Class April 12, 2006). I think it's much shorter these days.

I really enjoy the 320. I'm going to miss it when I bid for E190 CA next year (need to pad my PIC time just in case I ever have to job hunt again). Overnights in the 320 are everywhere except the 190-only cities. So no Pitt, Richmond, Houston, and a few others. Aruba is a very nice layover - about 24 hours. Nice hotel, private beach.

I think we've got the right people in the right places up top now. But hey, I'm just a blue-juice drinker.

Good luck whatever direction you go.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to bid the BUS.

190 layovers are...RDU, RIC, PIT, IAD, AUS, HOU, BOS, PWM, BUF, ROC (sometimes), MSY (starting sept.), PBI, BNA, JAX, HPN, CMH.

I think thats all...no 320 in RDU, RIC, AUS, CMH...I believe.

The 190 will be heading west real soon. Some say by the end of the year...others say just after the new year. Then I'm sure there will be layovers west of the continental divide.

oops...CLT...knew I I'd forget some.
